“ Fun neighborhood gelato place. Nice vibe and outdoor seating area. Easy to walk to. Delicious flavors! ”
“ Yum. Yum. Yum. I stopped by and tried the fior di latte, double espresso, and canoli gelatos - all absolutely delicious! The shop was clean and comfortable, with options for both indoor and outdoor seating, which added to the experience. Service was friendly and efficient. The only minor downside was the decaf coffee, which was good but not very hot. Could have been a one-off, but worth mentioning. Overall, it's a gem of a spot for a sweet treat. Definitely recommend! ”
“ The only thing holding me back from a 5 star is the price. I had the non dairy dark chocolate Gelato which was to die for... love that it came with a mini waffle cone (which i realized later is due to the fact that the waffle cone was invented in Hoboken- fun fact!) But the price was pretty steep for the small scoop I got. I definitely didn't need more as the Gelato was super decadent, but as someone who supports an insane amount of local ice cream spots I think the price was a bit much. Other than that I would definitely come here again! I also appreciated hiw they noted the various food allergens and which flavors had ingredients from Italy! ”
“ I'll never get sick of kikilu (even if I go multiple times a week). Their flavors are always so fresh and packed with so much character and taste. They're unique and decadent and so powerful. Staff is always so kind! They'll let you sample anything before making the big choice and the free mini cone on top is a special touch. You really feel the Italian atmosphere in kikilu with the pastries and decor. It's super inviting and pleasant. Can't wait to see what flavors come out next! ”
“ Delicious gelato! Found on a quiet corner in Hoboken, this gelato shop has so many options! With 3 or 4 of them being vegan! Definitely worth the walk! ”
“ Ordered: Picollo/Small Cup - Fior de Latte (~$5): translates to "flower of milk"; milky flavor with floral nuances Aya's take: You know when you just want something sweet yet light after dinner, this is the exact flavor that will satisfy that craving. With the Picollo/Small Cup, you can only choose 1 flavor. I wish they did half scoops since the Mezzo/Medium size would be too much for me. Anyway, back to the gelato. The Fior de Latte is so simple yet complex of a flavor. It's fresh, milky, mild in taste. The floral notes are very subtle; I would've loved if that was accentuated a bit more in each bite. Great neighborhood gelato spot! I would go back. ”
“ Incredible consistency and taste, a little goes a long way. Coolest gelato place- everything looks delicious! ”
“ I know this is gelato place, but that is not why I come here. I come here for the gluten free cannolis! I have gotten them a few times and they are AMAZING!!! Here is what I like: the flavor, the crunchiness of the shell, the variety in filling (cow milk ricotta option, or goat cheese), the variety of toppings - there were so many! And it's all gluten free - which is hard to find. The place itself is cute and well situated. Hoboken is a good neighborhood for a business like this. What I like less: the price. The gf cannolis are tiny and are close to $5 each. The service could also be better. While the product is amazing in my last visit, the person working there only partially filled the cannolis which is disappointing (especially when you pay $5 each). I have been there a few times now and service has been a hit or miss. One time the lady who was there really cared about the business and customer experience and another time - the guy that didn't properly fill the cannolis didn't seem to care. Overall- the line is always out the door and around the block for the place. They have an Italian theme going with a selection of gelato, olive oils and desserts. I tried the gelato and while it was good it was not my thing. The cannolis, however, I can't find a match anywhere else. Will I go back? Definitely! I will make sure my cannolis are properly filled before I leave this time. ”
“ Our go to gelato shop! So fresh, smooth and delicious! I've tried many flavors and there's not one I don't like! LOVE the Nutella and milk chocolate one. I hope to try the tiramisu one day. They have new flavors every now and then as well as dairy free options. Tried a couple baked items-wasn't too impressed, tasted like a couple days old rather than the fresh gelato they serve. The people who work here are also friendly and helpful when asking questing about the different types of gelato and baked goods. Friendly customer service is always great! Kudos! The ambience is chill, love the metro Italian style theme, it does get busy pretty quickly the times we've been here (sometimes line out the door, but worth the wait!). They have a few sitting spots inside and a couple more tables out front. I think a menu flyer of the different gelato flavors & prices outside would help quicken the line as well as not everyone is familiar with Italian gelato names and flavor profiles. Price is as expected in Hoboken. For a family of 3-1 small, 2 mediums and a baked good (brioche crème filled) it was a little over $29 ”
